Pressure is on

This morning I am less grumpy and more stressed. Today I have my final exams for the emergency transport attendant course I have been working on.

To pass this today I must prove that I have the capability to work as an ETA in future and have the maturity and professionalism to provide a level of care consistent with that. I'll have to demonstrate the use of equipment such as long boards and extrication vests in trauma scenarios as well as a clear methodology for approaching medical patients.

I've worked very hard to get the opportunity to attend this course and have throw a great deal of time and effort into passing it. I'm very nervous and not very confident.

Hopefully later I will be able to post that I am a more qualified (and no doubt extra grumpy) ambulance man!
