BBC Article
"I had to walk to the ambulance" boo hoo cry me a river. "I had to hoist MYSELF onto the ambulance" how dare those ambulance people not break their spines lifting my 34 stone mass. HOW DARE they expect me to move myself.
Because you fucking could you fat twat. If you could walk down the slope and could get yourself on the trolley why the fuck should somebody do themselves in carrying you?
Frankly walking to the ambulance might do you some fucking good. You manage to get to the fridge so you can get to the fucking ambulance.
There would have been a pissing seat belt just it wont have been designed to secure a blue whale.
You must be a strong patient to have the gall to be on BBC News complaining that your local ambulance service isn't paying the ridiculous amount of money required to airlift you by Chinook or whatever pristine service you think you DESERVE to get you to hospital. The fact you needed TWO fold down seats suggests a lot.
There are a lot of people in this case doing their best to get you to hospital but when you weight nearly three times the average what do you expect them to do? Why should they injure themselves mauling you around because you think you shouldn't have to move yourself. It is not a fucking chauffeur service and you shouldn't expect to be carried anywhere just because you are stressed out about going into hospital.
Start acting like a stronger person for fucks sake rather than moaning.

A second video featuring Nigel Wells, A&E Logistics Manager for WMAS is a pretty good look at the kit that WMAS are investing in to get around this problem:
