Whilst I understand people want to help I'm not sure the people that should be sent in are ones that come out with
voulenteer or not,, i would help!! sod the danger part,, i respect the fact that i have a duty of care and if they call on sja then my hand will be up.
Now aside from the fact that duty of care doesn't mean you don your cape and rush in to every situation I have real concerns with this. Do you really want people running around in a riot with a few bandages going into any situation regardless of danger? This is how you start doubling the amount of people injured.
I'm not sure who is more idiotic, the people rioting or the "superheroes" who think they are going to swoop in and save the day.

Wow. Just when I thought Johnnies couldn't get any thicker.
Even if duty of care existed in that sense in this country, and duty of care extended to first aiders, and St John decided to put their members at risk, and that chappy put his hand up, I'd still doubt their ability to provide safe and effective emergency aid given that they are completely incapable of understanding even the first step of the primary survey.
Also, they need to learn how to use the shift key. And punctuate properly.
